A brand new competition based out of British Columbia, which ran for the first time virtually in 2020 due to Covid and they just celebrated an extremely successful in-person season in 2022!
The One Dance Experience reached out to me because the social media company they had originally hired, didn't have any knowledge of the dance industry and therefore, they weren't seeing the results they had hoped for. They also found that it was time consuming to create content, curate hashtags and post frequently while working behind the scenes to ensure they had a successful inaugural season!
Upon bringing me on board, we were able to discuss their overall needs and goals; to build their social media channels with posts focused on their events that are also dance-related, all the while creating a hub for current and future clients. Since then, I have been able to curate a platform for them that bring in not only new clients, but adjudicators across Canada who want to work with them based on what they see on social media!
Rhonda and Melanie brought me on board because they knew at the time, social media was becoming extremely important but they didn't have the expertise or time to put into their platforms. I am completely responsible for all of their channels which entails content creation, hashtag research, content calendars, along with the development and management of their YouTube channel which is used to draw in more viewers to their platforms.
Chelsea and Leahanne first contacted me to take over and manage their social media accounts. Running a successful dance competition for over 14 years, they understood that social media is a very important aspect to their business to stay top-of-mind with their clients. However, they often saw their social media getting put on the back burner due to other obligations and responsibilities that come with running a successful dance competition.
I was able to take the pressure off of them, fully taking over their social media channels - creating content, copywriting, engagement, growing their followers and overall, ensuring they have a strong social media presence.
Denise first contacted me to take over her dance studio's social media as the Senior student she had, was going away to University. I first met Denise while teaching at a PAEC workshop and she would bring me in regularly for Summer intensives. Upon learning that I had started Social Media for Dance, she was interested in what I had to offer, After some discussions and learning what her needs were, I was able to put a plan in place for her where she didn't need to worry about social media and could focus on other aspects of her business.
Kreative Dance Co. under the direction of Mariah Davis, is a family owned and operated dance studio in Barrie, Ontario, offering recreational and competitive programs to students ages 1.5 - adult. Mariah's main objective was to bring more traffic to her social media channels while displaying a fun, fresh look into a dance studio.
Once we defined her objectives, we were able to build a long-term plan that has helped her studio to maintain a consistent presence and achieve her goals with her Instagram account receiving an average of 400 profile visits per week!
My Dancer's Closet was an online sales and trading marketplace for your dancer's costumes from years past and a place to find something new for the upcoming dance season.
Fred found me through a mutual friend and didn't quite know where to start when it came to social media but knew he needed to include it in his business start-up. I put a 6-week program in place where I built both his Instagram and Facebook accounts, created all content including the copywriting and hashtag research, and discussed future opportunities once this dance season comes to an end. When one season ends, a new one begins and with that commences the hunt once again for the perfect dance costume!
Whether you need help managing your current accounts or starting from scratch, contact me and let's chat!
*When Covid hit, unfortunately the dance season in Ontario as we all know, came to a halt for 2 seasons, and unfortunately, so did My Dancer's Closet*
